Mark go true blue for Flood Relief.
M&C Saatchi and Mark recently got their Aussie on for an Australia Day eve fundraiser for the Flood Relief on the company rooftop.
Our staff rallied together to gather an impressive swag of prizes including music festival tickets, dinner vouchers, music, hotel stays, an Xbox 360, a Play Station 3, beauty therapy, magazine subscriptions, a signed Wallabies jersey and an Aussie cricket bat - all auctioned on the night.
Along with a gold coin donation Australian refreshment stand of ANZAC biscuits, green and gold drinks and the compulsery BBQ, we managed to raise $18,000 for flood relief; a solid effort!
A highlight of the soiree was senior account manager Andrew Henderson being auctioned off. M&C Saatchi Australia managing director David Whittle was the highest bidder, paying $350 for a week of Hendo at his beck and call.
Make executive producer Jacqui Ford was the top bidder with $220 for M&C Saatchi's resident people mover Tibor Misic to drive her to work every day for a week.
David Whittle:
"We've all watched the death and destruction caused by the floods in Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania and have all wanted to reach out and help. What better way to do this than to come together on the eve of our nation's birthday to lend that hand."
We thank many of our clients for sponsorship and generous prize donations and also our staff who really got involved and made us proud to be an Australian company.
